Man Expected To Survive After Being Jumped And Stabbed By Small Mob
SANTA ANA (CBS) — Officials expect a man to survive multiple stab wounds and a beating at the hands of a small mob — at least five men and possibly more than 15 — in the parking lot Saturday morning of a Santa Ana bar.
Santa Ana police Cmdr. Jeff Owens said the man was attacked outside Malone's Bar and Grill, 604 E. Dyer Road, about 1:30 a.m.
Paramedics rushed the man to Western Medical Center where is expected to survive his wounds, he said.
There were no reports of any other injuries and a motive for the assault had yet to be established.
Owens had no description of the suspects.
