Man dies after crashing into several parked cars in Torrance

A man died after crashing his car into several parked vehicles in Torrance early Tuesday. 

The crash happened at around 1:30 a.m. near Torrance Boulevard and Fern Avenue, according to the Torrance Police Department. 

Officers arrived and found that the driver, only identified as a 35-year-old man, has slammed into multiple cars at the intersection. 

"The preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle traveling eastbound on Torrance Boulevard at a hight rate of speed collided with several parked cars, ejecting the sole occupant/driver of the speeding vehicle," TPD said. 

The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
