Man Charged In Stabbing At Metro Red Line Station
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A suspect, accused of stabbing two people at a Metro Red Line station earlier this month, was charged Tuesday with attempted murder.
Lang David Dunbar, 25, was arrested Saturday in Cleveland in connection with the Nov. 1 box cutter attacks on a man and woman following an argument at the Metro station at Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue.
Dunbar is awaiting extradition to Los Angeles, where he is charged with two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon and one count of mayhem, according to the District Attorney's Office.
Authorities said the man was slashed in the neck, and the woman sustained gashes to the face and the back of an arm.
Prosecutors have asked that Dunbar's bail be set at more than $2.1 million.
