Man Charged In Shooting Death Of TV Executive
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Prosecutors say a man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of an NBC Universal executive.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says 32-year-old David Andrew Armstrong was charged Thursday with the March 18 shooting death of Brian Russell Kaplon.
The Los Angeles Times says Kaplon was a finance executive at NBC Universal and a married father of one with twins on the way.
Coroner's Lt. Fred Corral says Kaplon died of a gunshot wound to the chest and his death was determined to be a homicide.
The Times says the shooting occurred at Armstrong's home. Kaplon was pronounced dead at a hospital.
