Man Assaulted In Home Invasion Robbery Near USC
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Three men allegedly invaded a home early Tuesay, punched a man in the forehead and stole two PlayStations and an Xbox 360, authorities said.
The victim's friend, a University of Southern California student, reported to USC public safety officers that she saw three suspicious men leaving with her friend's video game equipment at about 12:30 a.m. in the 700 block of West 27th Street, near South Figueroa Street, the LAPD said.
The victim -- a man in his 30s who was not a USC student -- reported that one suspect allegedly had a handgun.
The victim suffered a minor laceration when he was punched and was treated at the scene for his injuries, police said.
The suspects are described as three black men in their mid-20s.
