Police say that at least one of the two drivers involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in North Hollywood last Friday turned themselves in this week.

The crash happened at around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Troost Avenue, when a 26-year-old woman was struck by a car, which caused her to fall onto the street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

While she was in the road, a second car also driving on Victory Boulevard struck her. That car was described as a light blue or gray 2003 Toyota 4Runner.

Investigators say the second impact killed the woman, who was since identified as Ravenna Leyva of Sylmar by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

On Tuesday afternoon at around 4:30 p.m., LAPD Valley Traffic Division detectives say that the driver of the Toyota turned himself in at a station in Panorama City. He has been identified as 33-year-old Ryan Antonio Gomez Cifuentes.

Upon arrest, he was booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.

Detectives are still searching for the second driver in the crash. They have not yet provided information on that person's vehicle.

Anyone who knows more is urged to contact detectives at (818) 644-8033.
