Man Allegedly Stabs Friend 3 Times At Palm Springs Bachelor Party
PALM SPRINGS (CBS) — A Santa Ana man was arrested Friday after he allegedly stabbed a friend three times during a week-long bachelor party retreat to Palm Springs.
The two friends involved in the mid-morning fight were both taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Palm Springs police Sgt. Mike Kovaleff said.
On being released from the hospital, Russell Elliott, 28, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
Elliott allegedly stabbed his friend three times during a skirmish at a resort in the 1100 block of North Palm Canyon Drive.
The two men were taking part in a bachelor party with two other friends, police said. The victim's name was not released.
