Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting Brother-In-Law In Temecula
TEMECULA (CBSLA.com) — A 63-year-old Temecula man is accused of fatally shooting his brother-in-law near the Pechanga Reservation, according to authorities.
Nelson Virgil Allen was arrested Saturday in connection with the murder of 42-year-old Donald Piper.
Sheriff's deputies said Piper was shot at least once in the 12000 block of Pechanga Road.
Officials said the two men were involved in a long-standing family dispute.
Deputies were dispatched at 11:02 am for a shots fired call, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Tyson Voss.
Allen is being held on a $1 million bail.
