Man, 39, Arrested For Allegedly Videotaping Females Under Their Skirts
OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Oxnard Police Sunday announced the arrest of a 39-year-old man who allegedly videotaped under women's skirts at a local Costco store.
Mario Flores Cevada, of Santa Paula, was arrested around 4 p.m. Saturday.
Officials said he used an iPhone to capture images and video of unsuspecting women, who were usually wearing a skirt or a dress at the time of the crime.
Detectives with the department's Sexual Assault Unit reviewed video from Cevada's iPhone and iPad.
Officials concluded that Cevada has been committing the crimes in other locations throughout Ventura County, including a Target in Camarillo.
Oxnard Police detectives are seeking the public's help in locating anyone who has additional information on Cevada.
