Man, 18, Arrested In Moreno Valley Stabbing Death
MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — A man was behind bars Friday for allegedly stabbing another man to death outside a Moreno Valley mall.
Christopher Torrey Delaney, 18, of Colton, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the Aug. 13 death of 18-year-old David Edmundo Arcega, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Delaney, who was taken into custody at his home in the 100 block of Reche Canyon Road around 8 p.m. Wednesday, is being held on $1 million bail.
Arcega and several other men were involved in a late-night altercation outside the Towngate Shopping Center when the victim was stabbed once in the upper body, according to the sheriff's department.
He was later pronounced dead at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
