Male Teacher Accused Of Luring Boys Into Online Relationships By Posing As Girl
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — An Orange County male teacher is accused of allegedly posing as a girl on Facebook and getting young boys into online relationships.
Officials say 30-year-old Zachary Reeder pretended to be a young girl and then convinced young men to send him sexually explicit photos of themselves.
Reeder was arrested Saturday.
Authorities do not believe Reeder had any in-person contact with any of the alleged victims.
Detectives are trying to determine if Reeder used his job as a history teacher at Servite High -- a Catholic school for boys -- in Anaheim to target his victims.
Reeder was reportedly an assistant coach at Arnold O. Beckman High School in Irvine until last year.
