Magic's Team Favorite To Buy Dodgers As Two More Groups Get Rejected
LOS ANGELES (CBS) The Los Angeles Dodgers sale marches onward as Major League Baseball is reportedly going to reject two more bidders -- the Disney Family Group and another lead by investor Tom Barrack, says the LA Times.
The four remaining groups are led by Magic Johnson, Ram's owners Stan Kroenke, Hedge-fund manager Steven Cohen and Memphis Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley.
Dodgers current owner Frank McCourt must choose a bidder by April 1st, per court agreement.
Magic's group is reportedly the highest offer at $1.6-Billion.
