Love's 3-Pointer At Buzzer Sinks Clippers
(CBS) -- Kevin Love hit a 3-pointer as time expired to give the Minnesota Timberwolves a 101-98 victory on Friday night at the Staples Center.
Love's heroics capped a fourth quarter rally after Clippers point guard Mo Williams was tossed from the game.
Ricky Rubio, who missed his first 10 shots of the game, tied the score at 98 with a 3-pointer and then Chauncey Billups missed a lay-up at the other end that would have given Los Angeles a lead with 1.5 seconds left.
The Timberwolves outscored the Clippers 29-19 in the final quarter.
