Long Beach Middle School Put On Lockdown After Report Of Unauthorized Person
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Bancroft Middle School was put on lockdwon Monday after a report of an unauthorized person on campus.
Authorities methodically searched each building on campus and the surrounding area.
"We followed our safety procedures, and with the help of police and School Safety we conducted a thorough search of the campus but have found no such unauthorized person on campus," Long Beach Unified School District said in a statement.
The lockdown was lifted around 1:50 p.m.
