Lee's Sandwiches Recalls 200K Pounds Of Meat Over USDA Mislabeling

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Lee's Sandwiches has recalled hundreds of thousands of pounds of meat because they were never inspected.

The Garden Grove company has several restaurants in Southern California.

Inspectors say they found more than 213,000 pounds of chicken, beef and pork were given a USDA mark of inspection even though they had never been inspected.

The products were sent to stores and restaurants in several states, including California.

There haven't been any reports of anyone getting sick.

The USDA website has more information on the recall.
