LASD Investigating After Body Found Near Castaic Lake

CASTAIC (CBSLA) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Tuesday was investigating after a body was found near Castaic Lake.

According to authorities, deputies responded to a report of a body near the entrance to the Castaic Lake Lagoon off of Lake Hughes Road. When they arrived, they found the body and began a death investgiation.

The circumstances of the death were not immediately clear and details on the gender and age of the person were not immediately disclosed.
