Katy Perry is coming to the Honda Center this Tuesday on her Prismatic World Tour. Perry has earned nine number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over 72 million digital singles in the U.S. alone. This native Californian songstress burst onto the pop-music scene in 2008 with "I Kissed A Girl," and has been delivering one record-breaking hit after another ever since. For this tour, Perry is performing songs from her entire catalog including "Hot n Cold," "Teenage Dream" and her most recent number one single "Dark Horse." Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara serve as the opening act. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets start at $50.

If you're looking for some exercise and a chance to make new friends, there's no better group than the Los Angeles Running Club (LARC). The LA Running Club is meeting this Wednesday at Santa Monica High School for their weekly track night (free). The LARC is a non-profit completely volunteer organization designed to bring runners and walkers alike together all throughout South California. The run will be lead by David Levine, a LARC charter board member and co-author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Marathon Training." The run starts at 6:30 p.m. and directions to the school can be found on the club's website.

Get out and explore the City of Angels this Thursday by taking a tour of LA. Free LA Tour is hosting a totally free two-hour guided walking tour of downtown Los Angeles this Thursday, with no reservations required. The tour begins on N. Alameda Street in Union Station and ends in Pershing Square. The first tour of the day begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. The second tour kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. The tour covers about two miles and highlights include the Plaza Historic District, the Civic Center and the Historical Downtown area. Donations are accepted if you are in the giving spirit!

This Friday is National Talk Like A Pirate Day, so what could be better than taking the whole family out for a Pirate Dinner Adventure? Pirate's Dinner Adventure is a 90-minute dinner and show held in a 700-seat theater on Beach Boulevard. You'll be escorted to your seat by a pirate and given a colored bandana, placing you on a pirate team. As soon as the show, starts the crowd is encouraged to cheer loudly and wave their bandanas in the air in support of their pirate as they compete on stage in game and group-participation activities. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and tickets cost $89. All tickets are general admission, so get there early if you want the best seats possible.

The LA County Fair is only open for two more weeks, so stop by this Saturday to enjoy the fun while it lasts. The LA County Fair is a sprawling wonder with rides, food entertainment from all around the world. Where else can you marvel at sword swallowers, watch a 5D movie and pet a donkey all in the same spot? As an added bonus this Saturday, Martina McBride will be performing on her "The Everlasting Tour" with special guest Dustin Lynch in collaboration with the LA County Fair's "End Of Summer Concert Series." Tickets for the concert are available on the fair's official website. Gates are open from 10:00 a.m. to midnight. Admission for children under five is free and children between six and twelve years old is $12. Adult admission (13+) is $19 and senior admission (60+) is $15.
