LAPD Seize 50 Pounds Of Marijuana At Woodland Hills Pot Shop, Home
WOODLAND HILLS (CBS) — Police Wednesday seized about $10,000 and 50 pounds of marijuana at a medical marijuana dispensary and a home in Woodland Hills.
Authorities served a warrant at a dispensary in the 23000 block of Ventura Boulevard and at a home in the 23100 block of Leonora Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Michael Paul Hodges, 23, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale in connection with the investigation into illegal drug sales at the shop.
His bail was set at $20,000, but he was released early Thursday morning.
The estimated value of the 50 pounds of marijuana is $150,000.
Detectives also seized a pound of hashish, or concentrated cannabis, during the searches.
Authorities are looking for a second suspect.
