LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday announced the arrest of four suspects in the murder of a 7-year-old boy.
Tradel Faniel, 28, 24-year-old Windell Faniel, 19-year-old Paul Jamar and 31-year-old Danille Peters were arrest on Feb. 20 by the FBI and Los Angeles police.
The four men are accused of fatally shooting Taalib Pecantte as he sat in a parked car with his mother and a friend in mid-city on Dec. 2, authorities said.
According to police, Pecantte, his mother and her friend were sitting in the car when a white vehicle pulled up and at least one of the suspects opened fire, sending a bullet into the child's back. The child's mother, Sawan Mock, and her friend, Royce Jobe, were also wounded.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has filed murder charges against all four suspects in the boy's death.
A second murder charge was also filed against Faniel in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Charles Hall on Sept. 1 of last year.
