Lakers And Clippers Battling For Chris Paul?
(CBS) -- Chris Paul appears to be on his way to Los Angeles, assuming the league doesn't strike down another deal.
CBSSports.com's Ken Berger is reporting a Paul trade could possibly come down to the Lakers and Clippers, while ESPN.com reports the Lakers are actively searching for a third team to necessitate the young players the league would require to accept any Paul trade.
The Lakers are believed to be shopping Pau Gasol as the centerpiece in a Paul trade. The Clippers have been reluctant to offer Eric Gordon in any trade, but do have the Minnesota Timberwolves unprotected first round draft pick.
