LA Rams Host 66 Finalists For Final Cheerleading Auditions
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Rams hosted their final auditions for the team's new cheerleading squad on Sunday.
The team invited back 66 finalists out of the 400 women who tried out.
After a rather arduous audition process the final group was again whittled down.
The finalists participated in a question and answer session, followed by a swimsuit contest and then a dance performance.
The team said they would pick between 30-40 women to be the Rams official cheerleaders.
Former Rams running back Marshall Faulk was one of the judges.
Rams fans also got a chance to watch the final auditions -- tickets for the event started at $10.
The team ended up selecting 28 women to make up the 2016 cheerleaders and introduced the excited group to the media Sunday evening.
