LA Offering $75K Reward For Info Leading To Arrest Of Suspects In 2013 Murder Of Boy, 7
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The city of Los Angeles is offering a $75,000 reward for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the people responsible for the fatal shooting of a 7-year-old in December 2013.
Taalib Pecantte was shot as he sat in his mother's parked car in the 1900 block of South Corning Street around 8:55 p.m. on December 2, 2013.
Pecantte was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
His mother and a friend of hers were also shot in the incident.
The suspects were described as four male blacks wearing black hoodies. The suspects were last seen fleeing in a white vehicle.
Officials believe the suspects are also responsible for shootings in Venice Beach, West Los Angeles, Mid-Wilshire and Oakwood.
