L.A. Has Pickiest Eaters As Compared To Cities Nationwide, GrubHub Finds
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles has a new claim to fame after being dubbed as having the pickiest diners in the country, according to GrubHub.
From diners with dietary restrictions to eaters with particular wants and needs, the national online food delivery company says L.A. has more finicky foodies than any other city nationwide.
Within the study, analysts researched residents' special takeout ordering instructions throughout the country. Based on those results, a list was compiled of the top 10 pickiest cities.
According to analysts, L.A. proved to have the highest percentage of special instructions and requests when it came to ordering takeout.
GrubHub also conducted research to find the top 20 pickiest neighborhoods within L.A., finding that West Hollywood's patrons are the pickiest when it comes to takeout order modifications.
Wilshire Center and Hancock Park were next in line.
Los Angeles was ranked among other cities such as Seattle, Oakland, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago and Denver.
