L.A. CEO Seeks Justice And The Truth For Victims
Dr. Ron Martinelli is CEO and director of Martinelli & Associates: Justice & Forensic Consultants, Inc. Dr. Martinelli is a Forensic Criminologist, Certified Medical Investigator (physician's level) and director of the nation's only civilian Forensic Death Investigations and Independent Review Team. Dr. Martinelli holds a Bachelor of Science in pre-med and exercise physiology, master's degrees in public and justice Administration, a Doctorate of Philosophy in criminology with an emphasis in forensic psychology and is a Certified Medical Investigator (CMI-V), accredited by the Missouri Medical Association.

"My favorite part of my daily duties is forensic investigations and working with an amazing staff of professionals to find the truth, and allowing the evidence to speak for dead victims."
Do you feel your education prepared you for your current role?
"Yes, education is always important because it provides you with a foundation of learning. However, street experience as a former police detective [is also important]; crime scene investigations provides you with the "context" needed to be a great forensic specialist."
Do you have any advice for people who desire to pursue a similar career?
"Yes, I have advice for individuals interested in getting into a similar profession. Work hard. Study hard. Be focused. Stay on mission. Be tenacious in achieving your dreams. Life isn't always fair. Not everyone gets a trophy. Get right back up when you fall down. Own your mistakes and move forward. Think outside the box. Get into police and forensics work. Plan your work and work your plan. Remain positive! "
