Kuroda 50-50 On Returning To Japan
(CBS) -- Dodgers pitcher Hiroki Kuroda is denying reports out of Japan that he has agreed to pitch in Hiroshima in 2012, according to Ken Gurnick of mlb.com.
Kuroda told Gurnick, "It's amazing that something I don't know, someone else knows. They have a 50-50 chance."
The Dodgers tried trading Kuroda at the trading deadline, but Kuroda refused to waive his no-trade clause because of his desire to stay with Los Angeles.
Kuroda pitched for 11 seasons with Hiroshima before coming to Los Angeles, he has a 3.17 ERA with 13 wins in 2011.
If Kuroda can make it through four innings in his final start on Tuesday night in Arizona, he will receive a $200,000 bonus.
