Kris Humphries 'No-Show' At Settlement Conference In Divorce Case With Kim Kardashian
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — NBA player Kris Humphries was a no-show at Friday's settlement conference in a divorce case with reality star Kim Kardashian.
While Kardashian sat in the jury box waiting for proceedings, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hank Goldberg excused the public, reminding them that settlement conferences are closed events.
Celebrity website TMZ reports Humphries was in New York City at 1 a.m. Friday.
Kardashian, 32, cited "irreconcilable differences" in earlier court papers as the reason for the split from 28-year-old Humphries.
The divorce was filed 72 days after the couple married on Aug. 20, 2011 in Montecito in a lavish made-for-television ceremony.
The four-hour, two-part special, "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event", aired on E! Entertainment, reportedly earning the couple as much as $18 million, some media reports stated.
