Kobe Says He's Not Interested In 2016 Rio Olympics
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Lakers guard Kobe Bryant told reporters on Saturday that he is no longer looking to be a member of the 2016 Rio Olympics USA Men's Basketball Team.
Bryant said, "I think it's their time," referring to the younger players in the NBA.
"I've had my moment," he added.
Kobe said as "beautiful as it would be to play for our country," he's looking forward to having his very last game be in a Lakers jersey.

He also said he was looking forward to having his final professional game be in a Lakers uniform.
Bryant has won 2 gold medals for the USA, both in 2008 and 2012.
Kobe had previously left the door open to playing in Brazil in the Olmypics, but he just shut it. Time for the younger guys to shine.
