Kobe Bryant Auctioning Off His Mask For Charity
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Kobe Bryant is selling the mask he wore during his 29,000th career point against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 9 for charity.
Bryant wore the protective mask for 11 games after Miami guard Dwyane Wade broke his nose during the All-Star Game in Orlando on February 26.
The auction is to benefit the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation's Youth Homelessness Initiative.
The opening bid is set at $250 for the signed mask. The auction closes on May 8, 2012 at 4 p.m. PST.
