Kim Kardashian Makes Another Bid To End Marriage
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kim Kardashian's divorce case returns to court on Friday with an attorney for the reality star urging a speedy end to her marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.
Attorneys for the former couple disagree over a timetable for a trial to end the marriage, which Humphries wants annulled.
Kardashian, who is pregnant with a child conceived with boyfriend Kanye West, is asking a judge to order a trial to end her marriage as soon as possible.
Humphries, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, wants the case to remain on hold until his season ends.
Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011 after 72 days of marriage.
Humphries claims the televised nuptials were based on fraud, a claim that would have to be proven at trial.
