Kershaw Being Saved For Giants Series?
(CBS) -- With a playoff berth all but out of the question, the Dodgers will be resting some of their veterans down the stretch to get a look at some fresh faces.
-1Bman John Lindsey, the 15-year minor-leaguer will get his first start on Saturday at Houston (KCAL9, 4pm).
-Clayton Kershaw will have his start pushed back from Saturday to Tuesday in an effort to lower his innings total for the season. It also allows Kershaw to face the Giants, who are on the heels of the Padres in the NL West. John Ely will start for Kershaw in Houston.
-Trent Oeltjen is expected to start in CF tonight for Matt Kemp.
