Kemp, Kershaw In Line For Huge Raises
(CBS) -- Mlbtraderumors.com crunched the numbers and came out with projections for every arbitration eligible player in the majors, and according to the data, Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw are in for a big raise.
MVP contender Kemp made just over $7 million in 2010, and should receive $16.3 million if he goes to arbitration this offseason.
Meanwhile, CY Young threat Clayton Kershaw is projected to pull in $8.4 million in 2011, a significant boost from the $500,00 he made this season.
NY Yankees star CC Sabathia on Monday agreed to a new deal with the Yankees, where he will be making around $23 million next season.
The Dodgers are believed to be working on long-term contracts with their two huge stars, but with the ownership mess, nothing appears to happen very soon.
