Kardashian, Humphries Officially Divorced
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Reality star Kim Kardashian became officially divorced Friday from NBA player Kris Humphries.
The couple married on Aug. 20, 2011 and divorced 72 days later, with Kardashian, 32, citing irreconcilable differences.
The pair was married in a lavish ceremony which aired as a four-hour E! Network special. Humphries claimed that the couple was paid approximately $18 million to wed on television.
Details of Friday's settlement were not released to the public and Humphries did not appear in court.
The Brooklyn Nets star, 28, had sought $7 million from his former wife and an annulment based on his claim that the pair's short marriage was fraudulent -- an accusation Kardashian denied.
According to the court papers, the couple had a prenuptial agreement.
The divorce is Kardashian's second.
