Junior Seau's Home Put On The Market For $2.3M
OCEANSIDE (CBS/AP) — The beachfront home where former NFL linebacker Junior Seau killed himself is on the market for nearly $2.3 million.
U-T San Diego reports the two-story, three-bedroom home in Oceanside, Calif., was listed Monday.
Seau, a former San Diego Chargers linebacker, was 43 when he shot himself at the home in May. By law, the seller must disclose that a suicide occurred on the property, but that may not deter some buyers, KNX 1070's Tom Reopelle reports.

"You know, certainly there will be some buyers who may want to pass on it," Donna SanFilippo with the San Diego Association of Realtors said. "But there will be several others who would be interested due to the location and what the home offers, what that community offers."
The price is significantly less than the $3.2 million Seau paid for the home in 2005.
Real estate agent John Beran, who listed the house, tells the North County Times that the difference is fairly typical given the weaker housing market.
