STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Get ready for a cooler weekend.
There is a trough that is deepening and it will swing through on Sunday. Expect daytime highs to run five to seven degrees below average.
We are also looking at some gusty winds on Saturday as well.
By Monday temperatures will rebound and we will have a pleasant start to the work week.
The middle of the week is getting tricky...it looks like we could see an "inside slider" by Wednesday. That will translate into some cooler weather and very windy conditions.
By Thursday morning we could also be dealing with high fire danger. It's still a little early on this .but keep in mind we are getting into the heart of our fire season.
We will see increasing wind events leading up to our rainy season.
Basin - upper 70s
Beaches - low 70s
Valleys - upper 80s
Mountains - low 70s
Deserts - upper 80s to low 90s
