Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 13)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Forecast still appears to be on track with temperatures warming into the weekend.
A ridge of high pressure over the Pacific will intensify slightly bringing us temps in the mid 80s in the basin to upper 90s and 100s inland by Saturday.
We will see some slight cooling on Sunday, then more significant cooling throughout the next work week.
A broad trough will set up along the west coast and keep us well below average to the tune of more than 8 or 9 degrees off the mark. Temps will be topping out in the mid to upper 70s for much of next week.
The marine layer will also return by Monday.

Valleys - near 100
Mountains - upper 70s
Deserts - upper 90s
