Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 10)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Some low clouds across the Southland once again this morning.
Yesterday turned out to be a nice break from the heat and there is more to come. Temperatures will hover below seasonal averages through the middle of the week.
The high pressure has moved to the east and the on-shore flow has strengthened. We are under the influence of a cut-off low that did bring a couple of t-storms to the mountains yesterday.
Look for some slight warming on Thursday and a little more on Friday.
We will see the return of some hot weather as we make our way into the weekend and the beginning of next week.
Today will be the last day of a thunderstorm threat for a little while, nevertheless, watch out for pop up thunderstorms in our mountains and deserts (mainly to the east) this afternoon.
Basin - low to mid 80s
Beaches - low 70s
Valleys - low to mid 90s
Mountains - low 70s
Deserts - mid 90s
