Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 10)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — After Sunday evening's activity everything has settled down. We picked up some flash flooding in the Antelope Valley...then the storm shifted back into the basin...from the San Gabriel Valley into the Inglewood area.

It's a bit of a sticky warm start to your day. The overnight lows are up a bit this morning the relative humidity is high as well. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than yesterday, but still some instability this afternoon could give us a shot at a thunderstorm again.

A trough is moving through west coast will keep temperatures in check for today and tomorrow, however by Wednesday the ridge that has kept us so warm builds again into the west. So the latter half of the week and into the weekend we can expect hot temperatures again.

Coast-upper 70s to near 80
Basin-mid to upper 80s
Valleys-mid 90s
Deserts-mid 90s
Mountains-low 70s
