Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 30)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The cooling trend continues on this Tuesday and coastal communities are dealing with some dense fog.
The NWS issued a dense fog advisory for the coast until 9 a.m.
There is a trough approaching the west coast...responsible for the cooling. It will eventually break up that dense fog, but it will be replaced by a general marine layer over the area.
Temps will bottom out on Thursday as a front passes through the area. There is a chance for rain north of point conception, otherwise just cool and breezy here in the South.
By Saturday and Sunday we warm again with an off-shore flow and temperatures into the mid to upper 80s again.
Coast-upper 60s
Basin-mid 70s
Valleys-low 80s
Deserts-low 80s
