Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — After a relatively cool week in Southern California, the weekend is shaping up nicely.

A ridge of high pressure will bump into the Southland over the next 24 hours.

We are still waking up to some low clouds, but after a quick burn off, we will see warmer weather for today and tomorrow.

There will be some cooling on Sunday, but it will still be nice.

Our weather pattern will change up Monday and Tuesday as a trough of low pressure swings around the ridge of high pressure and hits us in the form of an inside slider. That's going to translate into some cooler weather and gusty winds.

In fact, wind advisories are quite possible. There is also an indication that we could see some light drizzle early Tuesday.

Right now Halloween is looking warmer and nice.

Basin - mid to upper 70s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - low 80s

Mountains - low 60s

Deserts - low 80s
