Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 26)
STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — There's some beautiful weather on tap for the holiday and holiday shopping.
The high pressure and off-shore flow combined will continue to keep things warm for the shortened work week. Look for highs 10 to 15 degrees above average Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving).
By Friday, there will be some slight cooling and then a little more cooling into Saturday. There will be an increase in cloud cover into the weekend so temperatures will back off and head towards seasonal averages — upper 60s and low 70s.
The storm system that was getting the weather department excited seems to be all over the place right now.
All of the forecast models have slowed its progress way down, they have also backed off of the intensity on this system. This certainly is not promising when we are in the midst of a tremendous drought; nevertheless it looks like rain is in the forecast at some point Monday or Tuesday.
Right now it looks like your travels back to Southern California should be decent (at least on the Southern California end) on Sunday. We will have updates on the storm through the holiday weekend.
