Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 20)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We are waking up to some low clouds along the coast and clear skies inland.
With a westerly flow in place, we can expect relatively benign weather and temperatures running near average for this time of year. A small ripple in the jet stream tomorrow will bring the temperature down just a touch...but a ridge builds in for Thursday and Friday.
A northerly flow sets up (Santa Ana) and we will see some gusty winds, dry weather, and warmer temperatures. We will get up into the upper 70s and low 80s.
Thanksgiving looks fantastic! On Sunday and Monday that ridge breaks down as a trough of low pressure drops into the Great Basin...for what could be a pretty decent inside slider. This would bring us another off-shore flow, however it would be a cold windy off-shore flow...and it would increase the fire danger significantly. We'll watch for it!
