Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 15)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Look for a significant cooldown today.
The high pressure that provided the off-shore flow with warm and dry conditions is now drifting back to the west.
A trough is diving into the Southwest now and we will see the mercury drop nearly 20 degrees in some cases.
The on-shore flow is increasing, and that will mean gusty winds and more cloud cover.
There is a wind advisory for the high desert and mountain communities through Sunday morning. Gusts could reach 30 to 45 mph.
Temperatures will stay cool over the weekend.
Next week, look for some warming. In fact, late next week we could see another off-shore flow event that brings us back into the 80s and 90s.
Beaches - upper 60s
