Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 11)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The gloomy mid-week forecast continues with a well-entrenched marine layer.

The cloud deck is running at about 4,200 feet deep. That's certainly enough to squeeze out some spotty drizzle around the area.

Temperatures will remain well below average as the clouds have a tough time mixing out Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday should be the same.

By Friday, the marine layer thins out as a ridge starts to strengthen and move into the area. This will spell a warm weekend for the Southland.

The highs should be back up into the upper 70s and 80s for Saturday and Sunday.

It looks like another trough moves in early next week to bring temperatures down. The possibility of rain is still in the forecast next week, but it doesn't look too promising.
