Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 6)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The marine layer was thicker Wednesday morning, running at about 4,700 feet deep, which is certainly enough to squeeze out some drizzle.
It will be a relatively cool day with temperatures running a good 5 to 8 degrees below average.
A late season low continues to approach the area bringing in a chance of rain starting later on Thursday.
Then into Friday morning, the instability arrives along with some colder air. That means snow levels will be dropping along with a chance for a shower or thunderstorm.
This system may even be cold enough to warrant some type of winter weather advisory. Everyone has a shot at some rain on Friday.
High pressure builds for the weekend, so expect a warm-up for Mother's Day.
