Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 31)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The wind advisory from last night has expired. So aside from some sporadic gusts, it looks like a calm morning.
There are patchy low clouds once again this morning that have also made it into some valleys. This will give way to hazy sunshine this afternoon.
Temperatures will top out above average today in the upper 70s in the basin to upper 80s for our inland areas.
A ridge of high pressure is going to bubble up into the Great Basin on Saturday...so we are anticipating some warmer weather.
Right now it doesn't look like it's going to be quite as hot as anticipated, but it will be warm inland. We should see some upper 90s on Saturday. Then we cool down very quickly, by Sunday look for a good 5 to 8 degree drop.
The marine layer thickens up next week.
Basin - upper 70s
Beaches - low 70s
Valleys - upper 80s to low 90s
