Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 15)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The hot temperatures we experienced at the beginning of the week are now a distant memory with a strong on-shore flow taking over.
A short wave moved through yesterday cooling us off and kicking up the marine layer. This set the stage for a deeper trough that will move through later on Thursday.
Temperatures will run several degrees below average through the end of the week. However, by the weekend, a warm up takes hold once again.
High pressure will nudge closer to Southern California and that will bring warm temperatures, especially for inland areas. It won't be quite as hot as the last round, but we will see some 100s.
