Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 13)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It was a scorcher of a Mother's Day, and while there may be some slight cooling in some spots, it's still going to be a warm one across the inland region.
The ridge of high pressure that has been dominating is not quite as strong today, but still it has enough punch to bring a couple of century mark readings today.
By Tuesday a short wave will move through and that's going to encourage a stronger on-shore flow with the marine layer building back in. The low clouds should penetrate inland areas and we will all experience some cooler weather by Wednesday.
We will keep our temperatures in check for most of the work week, but by next weekend another ridge of high pressure builds in and you can expect another warm up.
