Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Mar. 21)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — It will be another chilly start to the day, but Wednesday afternoon should be lovely with temperatures hovering near the seasonal average of 70.

High pressure has built into the West coast and is encouraging an off-shore flow. Conditions will gradually cool down into the weekend as the ridge flattens. By Saturday and Sunday cyclonic flow around an area of low pressure will strengthen the on-shore flow. That means increased cloud cover and temperatures topping out in the low 60s and upper 50s.

Currently it appears the low will move inland on Monday giving us a chance for some rain late Sunday and early Monday morning. This doesn't appear to be a big soaker, but we could get some showers and low snow levels along with gusty winds.

Beaches - upper 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys - low 70s
Deserts -mid 60s
Mountains -near 50
