Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 30)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The marine layer continues to run at about 1800' deep.
That keeps the low clouds rolling into the basin and the coastal valleys.
This has been welcome for folks from Woodland Hills to Pasadena. However, away from that marine influence (Inland Empire, High Desert, Coachella Valley, Riverside County) it has been and will continue to be quite warm.
Temps in the high desert will surpass the century mark all week long.
This relatively benign and boring pattern will continue through the work week.
Look for a possible change up next weekend as the marine layer breaks up a bit. There is a slight chance we could see some monsoonal moisture development next week...but I'm not holding my breath. For the time being things look nice for the 4th of July!
