Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 3)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Mother nature continues to help fire fighters with some cooler weather and higher humidity.  However, along the fire lines there are some gusty winds (no advisories).

We can expect a pretty consistent forecast for most of this work week.  We have a general on-shore flow in place with clouds in the morning and sunshine for the afternoon.

The marine layer this morning is running at about 3000', that's enough for spotty drizzle.  This is a typical June Gloom pattern.  The on-shore flow is being encouraged by a cut-off low that is hanging off-shore.

Temperatures should hover in the middle 70s with some warming later on in the week.  In fact once that low moves on shore...a ridge of high pressure will be behind it.

Right now the long range forecast models are hinting at a significant warm up for the weekend...with a dry off-shore flow (high fire danger!).  We'll See.

Basin - low to mid 70s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - low 80s

Mountains - low 70s

Deserts -low 90s
